What To Expect

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Local tour guide will meet you at your Xian downtown hotel. Drive to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is surely the must see for visitors from all over the world. The guide will accompany you to visit the three pits and give you detailed explanation of this historical heritage listed by UNESCO in 1987. There are approximately 7,000 life-size Qin Dynasty terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots, and weaponry in battle formations which is believed to be partial of a massive terracotta troops guarding the tomb of the first emperor of unified China, Qin Shi Huang. Then visit the arts and ceramics factory if interested, you can see how the terracotta warriors are made.

A Song of Everlasting Sorrow
Enjoy a delicious dinner to taste the local cuisine. After dinner break, enjoy the Song of Everlasting Regret presented on the real-scene in Huaqing Hotspring with the backdrop of Lishan Mountain and the ponds, pavilions, corridors and palaces in the background.

Song of Everlasting Regret is performed at around 8:10 pm from April through October. It was originally a Tang dynasty poem written by one of the most famous Chinese poets, Bai Juyi, retelling the lament of Yang Guifei, concubine of the Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. This performance is a real-scene singing and dancing historical drama with dazzling lights, beautiful music and songs, lavish costumes and the grand stage which is partially submerged in the water. After the show, drive back to your Xian and drop off at your hotel.
