What To Expect

Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang)

Meet local tour guide from your Xian downtown hotel, aboard a taxi to the circular City Wall Park to start the trip. Wander along the circular City Wall Park built along the high City Wall and the deep moat, you will see many local people dancing, singing, reading, practicing Taichi, playing Pingpang or chatting with each other, you may also have the chance to see the local opera. The thriving trees and flowers decorate the classical Chinese architecture of the wall, adding additional beauty to the city of Xian. Walk with your guide to learn Xian culture and history and join in local life to have fun. (Note: You will not climb onto the City Wall)

Walk into the East Gate, you will come to the Yongxingfang Food Court build in the architecture style of Ming and Qing Dynasty, here is a perfect place for you to enjoy various local Shaanxi styled delicacies, Shaaxi Sandwich (Rou Jia Mo), Cold Noodles (Liang Pi), Dumpling Stuffed with Hot Gravy (Guan Tang Bao Zi), Honey Glutinous Rice (Feng Mi Zong Zi), etc. With your local guide’s accompany, you could enjoy delicious local snacks and get more knowledge of Xi’an cuisine.
