Gulangyu Island

As the private shore excursion, the schedule, duration and activities are fully customized. However, following is the most popular itinerary, be sure to tell your guide if you need make any changes. Typically, your excursion begins with a convenient pick up at Xiamen International Cruise Terminal, take the ferry to the well-known Island -Gulangyu (KulangSu), A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Upon arrival spend quality time to explore the “Dream Island”, visit the historic colonial architecture since Xiamen opened the port after the Opium War. See the memorial statues, China’s only Piano museum, Sunlight Rock etc.

Xiamen Shuzhuang Garden

On the Island, visit the classic Chinese Garden Shuzhuang Garden built by the wealthy merchant from Qing Dynasty, stroll around the ponds, rockeries, flowers and appreciate the charming old architecture and its wonderful scenery of” Garden on the Sea”. Ferry back to the city, take a break and enjoy a delightful local lunch with the recommendations from your guide.

Since this is 8-hour fully customized tour, if time permits, you could also visit the Beach and enjoy a nice view at Huandao road, please feel free to discuss with your guide if you are interested to visit any other places such as : 1) Zeng Cuo an Food Village once a peaceful finishing village; 2）Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street；3) Jimei School Village; 4) Huli Mountain Fort; 5) Xiamen Bailuzhou Park; 6) Zhongshan Road Walking Street or other local markets.
