What To Expect

Gulong Gorge

After arriving at the main entrance at the foot of the mountain, buy and collect admission tickets, then take a 10 mins ride by the resort shuttle minibus to reach half way up the mountain where you will start hiking along the wooden pathway with multi level waterfalls and streams next to you. Enjoy fresh countryside natural air and all kinds of greens and seasonal flowers as you ascend, finally step on the hundred meters long skywalk glass bridge connecting both side of the valley to have a panoramic view of the valley and surrounding mounts. Sample delicious local food for lunch at a local restaurant(Toufu is the specialty recommended).

Jinlong Cave of Qingyuan

It's a 1000m deep natural karst cave which was first discovered by local farmers in 1970s, what makes it special is the water source it contains forming an underground river flowing from inside the cave all the way through exit. Travellers would take a boat ride at the entrance to cover 100m water way into the first part of the cave, and then walk the second half inside the cave. Diverse artificial colourful lights were set and illuminate on various natural karst rocks along the tunnel as you go, creating beautiful scene and imagination, your guide will tell you this looks like a dragon, that resembles a turtle and so on, judged from the shape of the rocks. The temperature inside the cave is cool in summer and warm in winter, opposite with the outside due to its isolated micro environment.
