What To Expect

Lama Temple (Yonghegong)
Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at the time you advised as your preferred pickup time when booking. Then take local transportation (bus or subway )to Lama Temple. 

Lama Temple previously the residence of Count Yin Zhen, who became Emperor Yongzheng in 1723. In 1744 after Yongzheng's death in 1735, the buildings became a lamasery staffed by monks from Tibet and Mongolia. Admire the huge wood-carved "Maidala Buddha" and hear how the statue was carved out of a single sandal wood with your tour guide.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Then travel to Tian'anmen Square by local transportation( bus or subway. Here you can see its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Tiananmen is the biggest city center square in the world. You will see The Great Hall of People, and The National Museum, the Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum and The Monument of the People's Hero.
