What To Expect

National Museum Of China

The tour starts with hotel pickup at approximately 9:30am. Head first to the National Museum.

The National Museum, which sits to the east of Tian'anmen Square. It was built on the basis of the former Museum of Chinese History and the former Museum of Chinese Revolution, being the most inclusive museum of time-honored Chinese culture and history in the country. After four year's renovation and expansion, the new National Museum reopened in March, 2011 ranks among the largest modern museums in the world.It is devoted to display of treasured collections in form of various thematic exhibitions, such as the Arts of bronze, porcelain, jade, Chinese calligraphy and paintings, Buddhist statues, Ming & Qing furniture, coins, etc in ancient China

Afterwards, head to Military Museum. The exhibitions of the museum are divided into basic display and temporary exhibitions. It has 22 exhibition halls and two display squares. Exhibition halls are tall, spacious and bright. The length of all exhibition venues reaches up to 12 kilometers, which is quite rare at home and abroad in terms of its size. Basic displays include The Hall of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, The Hall of the War to Resist Japanese Aggression, The Hall of the War of Liberation of China, The Hall of Ancient Wars, and The Hall of Modern Wars etc.
