Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan)

Begin your tour by meeting your guide in the lobby of your central Guilin hotel. From there, you will head to Elephant Trunk Hill.

Elephant Trunk Hill is the landmark of Guilin. It has been a famous tourism destination since the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). The hill looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the river.

Xiangbi Moutain Puxian Tower

Enjoy a vigorous walk to the top, visit the the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) Puxian Tower which was built to worship Samantabahdra. Get to learn its history from your tour guide, then enjoy the panoramic views of the city, Li River and surrounding scenery.

Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Resort

Then, choose one or two spots you want to go at Two Rivers and Four Lakes Resort to explore. As one of Guilin's calling cards, the Two Rivers and Four Lakes project, connects the city's Taohua and Lijiang Rivers in the east to four inland lakes - Ronghu and Shanhu Lakes in the south, Guihu Lake in the east and Mulonghu Lake in the north.

Guihu Lake was originally the city moat of the western Guilin City in Song Dynasty (960-1279). A large number of precious arbors and flowers are planted along the lake, such as banyan tree garden, gingko garden, white pines garden, redwood garden, magnolia garden and palm garden. It is also a world of bridges such as Xiqing Bridge, Baoxian Bridge, Lize Bridge, Yingbin Bridge and Guanyin Bridge. If you like gardens, you can choose to take the leisure walk at Guilin Lake Scenic Area. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and find good setting to take photos.

Mulong Lake

Mulong Lake features the integration of historical culture into the nature. Follow your tour guide to start from the north of Mulong Lake, explore a group of manmade sights such as Dongzhen Gate and the site of the City Wall in Song Dynasty. A very large building complex is scattered around. The construction includes Song Street, Half-side Street, Mulong Pagoda, Mulong at Night, and Ancient Song City. Mulong Pagoda was built by imitating Longhua Pagoda in Song Dynasty in Shanghai. Besides, there is an ecological landscape zone between the southern Mulong Lake and Folded Brocade Hill where you can admire forest, grass, falls and streams.

During the leisure walk, you will enjoy the beautiful Li River, like a poem and a picture, is an important component of the mountains and waters in Guilin.

You will also see Taohua River which was diverged into Li River in Ming Dynasty. Taohua River and Li River thus connected and have added more beauty to each other.
