What To Expect

Jade Buddha Temple
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Jade Buddha Temple and start the highlight tour.
The Jade Buddha Temple is an active monastery and one of the most popular temples in Shanghai. Visit to see the site's two beautiful jade Buddhas as well as the vast collection of statues, relics, and art.
Although the history of the Jade Buddha Temple is not very long, the old-time and classical architectural style makes it unique and inimitable in this modern city. The Jade Buddha Temple is a good place to go whether you are a Buddhist or not, the peaceful and transcendent atmosphere adds a kind of richness to our busy modern society.

The Bund (Wai Tan)
We will walk along the Bund and see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles.
The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction.

Huangpu River
The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: high modern buildings in the Pudong area, and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side.
We will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.

Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)
Once the tallest building in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower remains one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in Pudong, part of the skyline visible from The Bund. The sci-fi-esque 1,535-foot (468-meter) tower houses observation platforms, a glass-bottomed walkway, rotating restaurant, as well as the Shanghai History Museum in its basement.
We will learn Shanghai’s history in the basement museum, have lunch with 360-degree views in the rotating restaurant and see the views from the observation decks.

Xintiandi

People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang)
Shanghai People's Square is located at the very center of Shanghai and is the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. It is a flourishing place for people to look around.
There are many scenic spots around people's square, such as the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Along the south side of the People's Avenue, there are several large underground structures, including Hong Kong Famous Brands Street and Dimei Shopping Center, the largest underground city transformer substation of Asia and the largest underground parking garage of Shanghai.

Shanghai Circus World
Shanghai Circus World, regarded as China's 'No. 1 Circus World' is located in Jing'an District.
It has a distinctive architecture with a splendid golden vault and can seat an audience of 1638. The advanced stage facilities, lighting and sound equipment enable it to be a comprehensive performance site, which holds domestic and international circus programs, acrobatics, singing and dancing performances.
It is in fact a stunning Shanghai Circus World Acrobatic Show combining traditional Chinese arts and modern technologies. The performers present Chinese acrobatics, martial arts and dance perfectly in harmony with the music, sound, lighting, and other special effects, which include a water screen.
