Strawberry picking in greenhouse is a popular activity during weekend or holiday in Beijing, and you can taste the fresh strawberry pretty much all year round. This private tour takes you to famous Tianyi Ecological Park located in Changping District, Beijing, which is specialized in greenhouse strawberry farming technology. In the morning your will first visit Beijing Aviation Museum which demonstrates the great achievements of the country's space technology. It is also a base for scientific popularization and patriotic education.

Yanqi Lake

If you are not a fan of museum and rather to be a nature lover, the beautiful Yanqi Lake can be your 2nd option. Yanqi Lake is about 37 miles (60 kilometers) from Beijing city center, and it features wonderful natural waterscape and colorful aquatic amusement facilities. It even achieved the national 4A level scenic spot since 2001. Feel free to work out your itinerary with your private guide.

Beijing Tianyi Strawberry Ecological Park

After lunch, it's time for strawberry picking at Beijing Tianyi Ecological Park, and you will find many large greenhouses there. It is famous for it's organic and greenhouse farming technology. You can actually taste the fresh strawberry directly from the plants! If you happen to be there during the strawberry off-season, don't worry about it. Each year, Beijing's suburban farms and orchards produce quite a harvest, with everything from strawberries, cherries, apricots, pears, peaches, grapes, apples to persimmon.
