The Commune by the Great Wall is about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive away from Beijing. You will pass by Juyongguan Great Wall and Juyongguan Pass, let your tour guide know if you want to stop for photos.

Commune by the Great Wall

Upon your arrival, you will pay a visit to the commune ,then your guide will accompany you to find the small mountain path and hike all the way up to the top. Your guide will explain the detailed history and stories behind the wall, and you will then have some free time to explore around.

The Commune by the Great Wall is a private collection of modern architecture and SOHO China managed boutique hotel, in Beijing.The Commune consists of private villas designed by 12 prominent Asian architects. This project's vision was to encourage creativity to influence a new generation of Asian architects, developers and consumers. At the Shuiguan section of the Great Wall- the Commune shares the tranquility of the mountains with a Unesco World Heritage Site. Then you will heading to the Commune restaurant to have a delicious lunch, both Chinese food and western food is available.
