Our tour request for Ling was to essentially teach us how to navigate Beijing: where to shop, how to use the subway, hail a taxi, where it was safe to eat and drink, etc. Ling performed all of these tasks well, and in addition gave us some insight into ordinary life in Beijing, which we greatly appreciated.
