What To Expect

Beijing South Railway Station
Your train tickets will be booked in advance by us. pick you up at your hotel(within second ring road in Beijing) around 08:00 with special car and take you to Beijing South Railway Station, the meeting spot. If your hotel is located outside the Second Ring Road, please tell me your location, I will let you know if pickup will be provided. If not, you can add a little fee and go to the station by taxi or subway yourselves.

Then we go to Tianjin by high speed train together.

it is a living quarter including 5 east-west streets. it was the biggest wealthy living area in China. today it's featured by the former residence of historical celebrities and various buildings. it's called all countries architecture expo. we will visit there by car and stop at Munan garden for a moment.

Jingyuan
We will visit one of the former residences of celebrities in Tianjin ---- Jing Garden (Jingyuan) on this tour. It is the former residence of the Last Emperor of China, Puyi. He used to lived here for two years. You will see the Zhang Garden nearby too. They are two places where Puyi lived in Tianjin (1925---1931). You will learn about the history in that peroid.

Ancient Culture Street (Gu Wenhua Jie)
Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street is a traditional shopping street and fair in old Tianjin. The Tianhou Palace inside was the earliest building in the Tianjin city. It was built beside Haihe River, Sanchahekou(The confluence of three rivers), the birth place of the city. So there you can see the change and development of the city. In the street, you can see the local traditional handicrafts, such as Yangliuqing New Year Picture, and clay figure. there you can buy local snacks, like earhole fried rice cake, Shibajie twisted dough.

Ferris wheel, Eye of Tianjin
Ferris Wheel is also known as Eye of Tianjin, standing at the new confluence of three rivers. . It is the only Ferris wheel built on bridge across river in the world. It is a symbolic building of Tianjin. There you will see the Monument to Luanhe-Tianjin project. It tells people how Tianjiners united together to complete this great project and change people's life and the city's fate. You will also see the site of Emperor Crossing the River which is a great historical event that affected the fate of Tianjin. No entry to the Ferris wheel on the tour.
