What To Expect

Mutianyu Great Wall

1. Pick up travelers from hotel on departure time, and then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (60 miles away from downtown about one hour driving) Mutianyu Section section. Cable car is a good choice if one wants to get to the highest point and take the whole beautiful bird view. Sightseeing on Mutianyu Great Wall for 2 hours.

2. Before having lunch (12:00), travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

3. Have traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.

4. On the back way to Forbidden City, we will go to Olympic site and have a short exterior visit to "the Bird's Nest - The Beijing National Stadium, Water Cube"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

5. Then drive to the Tian'anmen Square. It will take about half hour to go around it. And then walk directly into the Forbidden City.

6. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours. Also known as the Palace Museum, is the largest and most well preserved ancient imperial residence in China today.
