What To Expect

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)

8:00 Starts
Pick up from your hotel and head to Chang tomb and Ding tomb in the comfortable vehicle.
10:00 Visit Ming tombs
In Chang tomb, we will visit the old palace which has been changed to be an exhibition place to show the Ming Dynasty’s clothes and beautiful decorations. Then we drive to the Ding tomb nearby which is the only emperor’s tomb that open to the public. We will walk into the underground palace and discover the place used to put the coffins.
We will leave Ming tombs passing by the Sacred Road, there are stone sculptures alongside the road where is a peaceful place to walk and take pictures.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

After having delicious local lunch in the local Chinese restaurant, drive to the Summer Palace, which is the resort for Imperial family members. You will have a relaxed walk along by the lake and the tour guide will show you the room where empress dowager Cixi used to live, you will gain abundant of relevant history and stories. The long corridor is also one of the highlight of Summer Palace, where you can take wonderful photos.

After it you will be transferred back to the hotel then.
