What To Expect

One thing should not miss in Hangzhou is Experience Longjing Tea Culture. Take a half hour drive to a Tea Village, counted as one of the first-class quality tea protection zone and main Longjing Green Tea (Jorgen Well Tea) producing area.
A local tea farmer will welcome you with traditional tea-pickers' bamboo baskets and hats and accompany you to the tea plantation. Learn the how to classify good quality tea leaves and pick it in right way. Then back to bake house, the tea farmer will demonstrate from fixation, barking to drying. This process dehydrates the leaves and helps preserve their beautiful green color. Demonstration on tea ceremony will helps better understanding of Chinese tea culture.
After tea village, we will drive to a local restaurant hidden in the tea plantation to enjoy tea cuisine.
