What To Expect

Jinshanling Great Wall

Your tour guide and professional driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 07:00 to 07:30 in the morning. Your guide will contact you the evening before to confirm the exact meeting time.

After around 2.5 hours, you will arrive at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall and then please follow your guide to hike along the ramparts and reach at the East Five-Window Tower after 40 minutes. Have a short break there.

Then continue marching westwards to the Jinshanling Great Wall. This section still maintains the original look and reveals a beauty of desolation. En route, you will pass by three famous watchtowers, namely Big Jinshan Tower, Small Jinshan Tower, and Black Tower. After another one hour's hiking, you will arrive at the Shalingkou Pass. You may either descend at Shalingkou or continue hiking for another 30 minutes to Zhuanduokou Pass according to your own physical condition.

After you get down from the wall, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.
