Overview

In the south of China, and north of the province of Guangxi, there is one of the most emblematic triangles for the traveler.

The landscapes of Guilin and Yangshuo are one of the most repeated in Chinese art. Who has not ever seen paintings or photographs of those karstic pyramidal peaks that emerge towards the sky from the waters of a calm river (the Li), or those views over hundreds of rice field terraces (the Longji Dragon Column Terraces ).

This classic from the South, close to the landscape and nature, contrasts spectacular landscapes with the approach to the Chinese people and especially the Dong, Yao Rojo and Zhuang ethnic groups and their environment in wooden villages. But also, it brings us closer to the daily life of the people, the artisans, the rice and sugar cane farmers, the collectors of the shoots of the tea bushes, the herders of ducks and water buffalo, of night fishermen in bamboo with birds cormorant.
