What To Expect

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)

With pickup from your downtown hotel lobby at around 6:30 - 08:00 am, aboard the air-conditioned coach to explore the highlights in Beijing.

Drive for 1.5 hours to Ming Tombs area. The mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) lie here. You will explore the Dingling Tomb further. Dingling Tomb is the mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Yijun, the thirteenth emperor of the Ming Dynasty and his two empresses. The highlight part here is the stone Underground Palace with precious relics. Then enjoy Chinese lunch at local restaurant, you will see the unique carving craft at Jade Carving Artistic Center and learn Chinese traditional tea culture at tea house during the trip.
