What To Expect

Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling)

You will find your tour guide and private driver outside the arrival hall as soon as you reach Xi'an airport. After a short greeting, you will leave for the first stop of this tour - Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling).

It is a gorgeous tomb which was built for the emperor Liu Qi and his empress in the year of 153 AD. It is difficult to estimate the quantity and value of the cultural relics and documents unearthed in this site. Visit this tomb, you will have an opportunity to know the lifestyle, custom and culture of Chinese ancient people in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-24AD).

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

Afterwards, come to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which was built for First Emperor of Qin. Hailed as “the eighth wonder of the world”, its enormous size and thousands of cultural relics which made it deserve this title. Enjoy the most comprehensive explanation from your English-speaking tour guide about this tomb or the dynasty it represents.
