What To Expect

Xi'an Banpo Museum

This group day tour starts with pickup from your Xi’an downtown hotel lobby at 8:30-9:00 am, your knowledgeable tour guide will escort you to start the full-day Xi’an historical trip.

You will firstly head to visit the Banpo Neolithic Village. Banpo Museum was built at the base of the excavations of the Banpo site which is a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao culture dating back about 6,000 years. You will see how the resident matriarchic tribe used to survive in the Neolithic age. Later enjoy lunch in a nice local restaurant.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

Continue to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is the top attraction in Xi’an. These terracotta warriors and horses are in the size of a real army and were buried alongside the Qin First Emperor in a vast underground palace. Follow your guide to explore this most significant archeological excavation, see 7,000 life-sized figures in ordered rows and discover the history of Qin Dynasty. On the way back, you will have a visit to the Terracotta replication factory, where you can get to know how to re-made terracotta soldiers and purchase your preferred souvenirs.

Afterwards, return to downtown hotel to conclude the day trip.

Tang Dynasty Show

If you choose the option with evening activity of Dumplings Dinner and Tang Dynasty Dance Show, the guide will transfer you to the theater to have a memorable evening.

You will taste several kinds of steamed dumplings with different stuffings ranging from pork, chicken, mushroom and duck to egg, leek, carrot, lotus root and more, if you prefer vegetarian food, please advise while booking. Then enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance Show - a wonderful performance combining the ancient music and dance and another must-see when you visit Xian.
