What To Expect

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)

Meet your English speaking guide and Chinese driver. Drive about 20 mins to Chengdu research base of giant panda breeding, which is one of the most popular Chengdu attractions. We will have about 2.5 hours here. You will see pandas in different ages from infant to sub-adult to adult to senior pandas. One of most impressive things to see here is the lovely pandas making various funny movements while they eat and play, make sure your camera is ready!

Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

On the way to Leshan we will enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape of western Chengdu Plains.
When we arrive at Leshan city, we will have a Sichuan style lunch at local restaurant. Then go to Linyun mountain where Leshan Giant Buddha located.
Leshan Giant Buddha is the biggest cliff carving buddha statue in a sitting position. It is 71 meters tall. You can choose hiking in the Giant Buddha park in 2.5hrs or take the boat to enjoy the Giant Buddha. If you hike in the park, you can walk through the zig-zaging path down to the foot of Giant Buddha statue. Or you can choose the easy way to see the Buddha on boat.
