What To Expect

Lama Temple (Yonghegong)
The guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at the planning time in the morning, drive to Lama Temple first. It is the most celebrated Buddhist temple in Beijing and one of the largest and most influential temples in China, it became a lamasery in 1744 and is home to stunning Buddha sculptures, including one sculpture carved from a single piece of sandalwood that stands 18 meters above ground.

Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum
Next to it, there is located the Guozijian and Confucius Temple. One was the ancient university complex that trained the scholar-officials who ran imperial China and the other one was a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, a great philosopher and educator of ancient China.

Baiyunguan Taoist Temple Fair
Afterward to White Cloud Temple, it is one of "The Three Great Ancestral Courts" of the Quanzhen School of Daoism, and is titled "The First Temple under Heaven”, first founded in the mid-8th century during the Tang dynasty and the existing one was rebuilt for the Ming and Qing Dynasties Every year on the 19th day of the first lunar month a festival is held at the abbey in celebration of Qiu Chuji's birthday. It was thought that Qiu would return to earth as an immortal on this day

Niujie Mosque
Continue to next destination - Niujie Mosque, it is an ancient mosque that is thought to be among the oldest and most important mosques in China and  It is the largest mosque in Beijing, and is an important place for Muslims in Beijing.  The outside architecture is Chinese with interior decoration combined with Arabia style.
