What To Expect

Jinci Park

Your tour guide will pick you up in the lobby of your Taiyuan hotel by hold your name sign, hop on your private air-conditioned vehicle, heading directly to Jinci Temple.

Jinci Temple was builet during the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century BC to 711 BC) in memory of Tang Shuyu (the first ruler of Jin during Zhou Dynasty) and his mother. Jinci temple is a combination of historical cultural relics and beautiful landscapes. You will find traditional Chinese ritual structures, gardening, carving and moulding, murals, inscriptions on tablets, etc.

On arrival, opt to explore the buildings, pavilions and beautiful gardens of the temple. You’ll stop outside different buildings to take photos and learn about it from your private guide.

You will visit Saint Mother Hall, Flying Bridge across the Fish Pond, the Offerings Hall and other buildings, you will also find three hundred inscribed tablets were writings by emperors, officials and poets.

Mengshan Mountain Buddha

After throughout exploration, heading to Mengshan Mountain Buddha.

Mengshan is regarded as a sacred mountain and has beautiful mountain scenery, it is famous for Mengshan Mountain Buddha, a 200-ft tall, and carved out of stone. It is considered as China's oldest stone-carved Buddha statue.

Follow your tour guide to take a golf cart and reach the halfway up the mountain. Hike 30-minute to the Buddha.

After lunch in the local restaurant, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Taiyuan.
