Liziba Park

First stop will be a quite unique site, a monorail station with an incredible design, the train cars go straightly trough an apartment building, possibly an only seen one in Chongqing. Not only just eye witnessing it, we will personaly experience a monorail ride from this station. And the next stop will ba Panda's home-the City Zoo. Train ride takes around 20 min.

Chongqing Zoo (Chongqing Dongwuyuan)

Get to the Zoo by monorail train. We do the zoo in the morning for Pandas are mostly fresher and more active than in the afternoon, and there might be a chance to see these cute animals feeding part. Beside Giant Panda bears travelers also might enjoy some other animals and amazing art of Chinese garden. Then take another monorail ride all the way back th the first stop-that building through station..

E'ling Park

E-ling park is located on a high ridge, a recreation hang out with elegant typical Chinese traditional gardening in downtown Chongqing, used to be a private garden of General Chiang Kai Shek in 1930's. The whole area is covered by banyan trees and flowers, also a nice viewing site in downtown. We'll explore around and enjoy an afternoon coffee break in Mei-ling Cafe, the former residence of General Chiang and his pretty wife-Madam Song Mei Ling.

The coffee break will be on us.

Ciqikou (Porcelain Port)

Ciqikou Old Town is now a super hot-shot and a must go in downtown Chongqing. The history of this little cute riverside village dates back 1000 years ago, it has been a freight distribution site ever since. Some ancient architectures like residences and temples are mostly well preserved, we'll walk along a lively nostalgic flagstone street through this town, learn the traditional side of this metropolis in western China.

Lunch will be on us and might be inside this old town if time permits.

Hongya Cave

A mock Manchurian architecture built on natural cliff side, nearby the joint point of 2 rivers, it now becomes a new landmark of Chongqing. Taking an amazing view from the top+exploring through a snack street inside+learning original folk custom are must-do things in this site. Another highlight here would be a 5-star hotpot resaurant called "Hong'ding", step inside and try this typical Chongqing cuisine would always be a smart choice, if you could handle spicy food and the restaurant is still available.The average cost in Hongding Restaurant would approximately 150 yuan perperson.

Chongqing Theater

Get cross Jialing River to the City Opera House, a modern avant-garde designed architecture standing right nearby where Jialing River joins Yangtze River, the central point of Chongqing, travelers might take a walk around this giant buiding, enjoy the view of this huge mountain city and Hongya Cave from a unique angle.

Travelers might choose to end this tour either at start points or at their hotels as long as in downtown.
