Former French Concession
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, transfer to Former French Concession area and start the highlight tour.
Known for its tree-lined boulevards, the former French Concession is a stylish neighborhood boasting a charming mix of Chinese and European architecture. Walk along quiet alleyways, absorb the botanical beauty of a French-style park and admire the intricate facades of villas and apartments built in the early 20th century and discover the famous figures that have resided within.

Tianzifang
Tianzifang, which used to be industrial area, is now a fashion landmark with many lanes. You can walk through the old alleys to see what the folk houses looked like in early 20th century Shanghai with dormer windows, red tiles, green moss on the walls, and so on. Moreover, losts of restaurants and fashion boutiques can be found here, making it a nice place to enjoy delicious food and shopping

Yuyuan Old Street
Shanghai Old Street, historically called Miaoqian Dajie, is an old business street that has a combination of tourist attractions, shops, entertainment and cultural exhibits. It owes its special social attractions and rich commercial background to the fact that the earliest bank, gold shop, jeweler's store, wine shop and tea house of the city were all to be found here. Visiting the old alleys of Shanghai is a great way to discover the traditional culture of this city and experience the real life of the Shanghainese.
After lunch, you will visit the largest ancient gardens in Shanghai - Yu Garden and Shanghai Temple of the Town God (Chenghuang Miao).

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Yu Garden was a private garden of the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. It was the largest and most prestigious of its era in Shanghai after it was completed.
Yu Garden is small in size, but it contains all elements that a classical Chinese garden should have. The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters all have unique characteristics. The exquisite layout, beautiful scenery, and the artistic style of the garden architecture have made the garden one of the highlights of Shanghai.
You can walk to the Zigzag Nine Bend Bridge. Chinese people believe that the number nine symbolizes auspiciousness. Walking across the Bridge is said to bring people good luck. The Bridge leads to Mid-Lake Pavilion Teahouse, which is the oldest teahouse in Shanghai.

Chenghuang Miao (Yuyuan Garden)
The Old Town God Temple of Shanghai, with far-reaching history, attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world to visit. As well as praying, visitors to the Old City God Temple can watch some folk performances, can take part in cockfighting, special calligraphy and some other acrobatic performances.

Huangpu River
The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: modern skyscrapers in the Pudong area and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. We will take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower.

Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum
Then, your guide will take you to Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum which is a museum commemorating the Jewish refugees who lived in Shanghai during World War II after fleeing Europe to escape the Holocaust. The museum features documents, photographs, films and personal items documenting the lives of some of the more than 20,000 Jewish residents of the Restricted Sector for Stateless Refugees, better known as the Shanghai Ghetto, during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai.
See important sites from that era including the Jewish Refugees Museum (formerly Ohel Moishe Synagogue) and Huoshan Park.
