Overview

What To Expect

Xuanquanzhi Ruins
At 9:00am, your local guide will pick you up from your centrally located Dunhuang hotel, then take one-hour ride to Xuanquanyi Ruins that was ancient post house on the Silk Road, where we discovered the ancient books, utensils, silk, food and houses. It was inscribed on the list of World Heritage by UNESCO in 2014 as part of the Silk Road.

Pochengzi Ruins
Afterwards you will drive one hour to the statue of Son of Earth, which was created by Professor Dong Shubin in 2016 on the gobi desert. The 15-meter long and 4-meter high statue indicates that human being should protect our mother, the earth.
Then you will be transferred back to Dunhuang after lunch. The tour concludes in your Dunhuang hotel.
