What To Expect

The Bund (Wai Tan)
Your local guide will lead you to trace the clues starting from the Bund, where foreigners first landed in Shanghai hundreds of years ago. Each building tells a story of its golden age, and you will find out the special features hidden in the buildings that highlight their age.

Shanghai Tower
Shanghai tower boasts the tallest building in China and the second tallest building in the world for the moment. Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Yuyuan Garden is located in the center of old Shanghai Town. It was a private garden built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty, with typical Chinese classic architecture and style. The complex covers an area of 2 hectares, with rockeries, pavilions, ponds and corridors. Yuyuan Garden is surrounding by a busy market place, where visitors can find everything from popular local snacks, handicrafts, antiques and souvenirs to some famous time-honored restaurants.

Xintiandi
Xintiandi is nestled between the towering skyscrapers in city center. It is one of the busiest urban tourist attractions and imbued with the city's historical and cultural legacies. Shanghai Xintiandi's Shikumen building was created by converting traditional residential blocks into a multi-functional dining, retailing and entertainment center flowing with restaurants, boutiques, cafes and bars of international standard.

Jade Buddha Temple
This temple is famous for two statues of Sakyamuni made out of single piece of white jade from Burma. Where you can also learn how the Chinese Buddha believers pray and make a wish.

M50 Creative Park
When artist Xue Song opened a studio at 50 Moganshan Lu in 2000, the area was just a cluster of abandoned warehouses. Over time, other artists followed and the M50 arts district was born. Now, the district is a hip place to explore artists’ studios, which are all open to the public, and pick up a fabulous piece of art to hang in your house. Start by visiting one of the main galleries—like Island 6 or Vanguard Gallery—and explore from there.
