Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked this tour last-minute, and had a great time! The guide was knowledgeable on the history of the foods we tried and neighborhoods we visited, and the food was phenomenal. We also enjoyed mingling with the other travelers on the tour! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a quick way to experience some of Beijing's amazing cuisine.
Delicious food tour!

We had a great time on our tour with Lily. We had a small group of 4, so there was plenty of food to go around!
We especially enjoyed walking around the market, tasting different things and seeing the little shops in the market. Definitely a must do if you want to try a wide range of food.
Very great experience, nice guide!!

Lily was our guide for the street food tour, and she was amazing! Answered all of our questions about the food and anything else we were curious about. The food was delicious and plentiful, we were all stuffed by the end of the night. I did the tuk tuk food tour the night prior, and while it was great, would recommend the street food tour over it if you only have time to do one.
Fun tour / dinner with Lily

I resigned myself to taking a food tour after struggling to read restaurant signs and not really knowing where to go, unfortunate as I know that Beijing offers amazing food.

Lily was very friendly, meeting me right at the metro exit and immediately heading to a local market. She would offer explanations of local products (helping me with the chinese names as she knew that I was learning mandarin) and buying and sampling all sorts of items from jackfruit to scallion pancakes. The dumpling restaurant was a highlight as it was delicious and filling.

It was great to have an insider perspective of some fun locations to eat. It is not just snacks provided; it's lots of food so more like dinner plus snacks. Lily even walked me to a craft brewery at the end of the tour which was amazing of her as I still wanted a beer and to explore further.

I had a great time and recommend this, particularly for solo travelers. Note - Beijing's subway is convenient but I am glad that I planned on it taking an extra 10 minutes as it did.
